R-noid can package orders, load and unload boxes and prepare workstations across multiple industries, from food service to healthcare to logistics.
Felipe Chavez Cortes, CEO and Co-Founder of Robot.com, told IZON in an interview that they have spent nearly two years developing R-noid, building on seven years of running robots in real-world settings.
“We already had customers, strong relationships and the behind-the-scenes machinery that keeps everything running – maintenance crews, remote operations, and the data systems that make a fleet reliable,” he said.
Robot.com began by developing an autonomous last-mile delivery robot for campuses known as R-kiwi, trusted by brands like Sodexo, Grubhub and Aramark. It has since expanded the portfolio with R-cargo to handle bulk orders in industrial settings and R-kiwi+ for advertising.
